Sauce (restaurant review)
400 Highland Ave, Somerville, Massachusetts
In the 50 minutes we sat around at the bar while the inexperienced staff tried to bus the empty tables, we learned that Sauce serves Tapas, but they're different from regular Tapas because they're bigger -- so you don't have to order as many! Oh, joy, fewer plates cluttering my table -- probably just as well given what we saw of the service. On our way out, the hostess asked why we were leaving. We said we'd been waiting for an hour, when she'd originally told us a 20-minute wait. She gave us attitude because we'd really only been there 50 minutes. With that kind of service, we won't be going back. |
