The spelling of my name

Why can't people get it right? They murder it when I say it to them, and even when they see it in print.

It's Aaron. Two As, one R, no Es. I'm neither Irish (mostly) nor female, so it's not Erin. I don't adopt the old-school Jewish spelling, so it's not Aron. I don't even *know* where Arron comes from, but it's not that, either. Noting how someone spells his or her name -- particularly when it's a pretty common one, which you might have seen in such obscure-to-Western-culture books as the Bible -- and the most frequent spelling, is a sign of respect.
